Hannah and Glenn had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Catthopre Manor in Leciestershire. The weather was very kind to them and was the perfect setting to celebrate their marriage. Hannah was a super chilled bride and hanging out with her and her mum and bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding was a real pleasure. When Hannah received her wedding gift from Glenn (a camera with some emotive and meaningful picture on it and a hip flask of whisky), bridal prep was in full swing!
Hannah had her hair done by Kerry Jackin and her make up was done by Rebecca Wadeson. Hannah and Glenn’s two boys joined us towards the end of the morning and were delighted with the watches that Hannah had given them as part of their outfit for Mum and Dad’s big day.
Hannah had ordered several large weather balloons which looked amazing and were great for the children to play with. Their boys had an active part in the day and their eldest gave Hannah away whilst their youngest was ring bearer. It really was a beautiful family occasion. After the ceremony, there were outdoor games on the lawn and then guests were invited for afternoon tea in the main building. The tables looked beautiful with vintage tea sets and fairy lights, an ideal setting for afternoon tea. The children bought the games inside and the party continued with giant Jenga and skittles.
Speeches were informal and low key which was lovely and the Mum’s got big thank you’s and bouquets of flowers. Then the dancing started and the children (and grown ups!) had a lovely time and thoroughly wore themselves out. It really was a privilege to be part of Hannah and Glenn’s wedding day and to see them celebrate their marriage with their two adorable children and their families. I wish them every happiness.
